This account was a group made account (Me, Casey, Wiktor) that I decided to start under then name LostOTFortnite way back in November 2020 and it’s soul focus was documenting all the lost features and changes that the Fortnite Online Tests (2014 to Early 2017) as many things changed such as the art style and many gameplay aspects. The name was to show Lost Online Test Fortnite a simple play on words after months of documenting the only Online Test build we had for years we no longer could find anything to post (not for years to come as build hunting for online test builds halted) from the build we had which was Fortnite Online Test 6.5 - Feb 17 2016 11:16:51 (Compile Date).
In late 2021 around November time as the account was at a slight hault with slower posts as a lack of content to post I came up with the idea to rebrand the account to LostOfFortnite rather than LostOTFortnite as if we kept that name we would have to stick to posting Online Test focused content which became harder to do so having a new name and purpose of general lost Fortnite things meant we were free to post any pieces of content no matter their origin or age to the game. This change was a major success as it brought around tons of followers and youtubers such as SypherPK and Top 5 Gaming even making videos based on our posts.
This account has posted many different forms of content that have all been scrapped or just left unused in Fortnite waiting for a purpose, some examples of content:
This post’s banner has a significant meaning too as this photo was used to showcase the same map on Fortnite to showcase the visual improvements they could make a big notice is the sky in the UDK (UE3) one is the sky was a static texture that just covered the world but in UE4 they were able to have more freedom with making materials and effects so they made the sky a more dynamic and changeable one. The photo on the left is from early 2012 or late 2011 and the one on the right is just after they started to work on UE4 which is mostly beleived to be in the middle of 2012.
